This photo is from my house. It is my family's stockings that we hang up every year. They're hanging off of a table because we don't have a fireplace.
I chose this picture because I think not only does it represent a Christmas tradition that not everyone in the world does but these particular stockings represent one of my family's traditions. These stockings were made by my grandmother for each person in my family ranging in size from largest (my dad) to smallest (me). However, the actual smallest stocking in this picture was not made by my grandmother but was bought by my family when my nephew was born. We put up these stockings every year and have for as long as I can remember.
